§ 2-5.11. Advertisements.
Any advertisement supporting or opposing a candidate, City measure, or initiative or referendum effort that is paid for by an independent expenditure committee shall provide a disclosure statement that identifies the following:
(a)
The name of the independent expenditure committee or person making the independent expenditure.
(b)
For independent expenditure committees, the names of the persons from whom the committee making the independent expenditure has received loans or cumulative contributions totaling One Thousand and no/100ths ($1,000.00) Dollars or more during the previous twelve (12) month period prior to the advertisement.
(c)
For printed advertisements, any disclosure statement required by this section shall be printed clearly and legibly in no less than ten (10) point type and in a conspicuous manner.
(d)
For advertisements that are broadcast on radio or television media, the information required to be disclosed shall be spoken or otherwise appropriately conveyed for the hearing impaired.
