§ 4-10.02. Preventative measures.

  • Every landowner or occupant of real property shall take preventative measures to either remove or prevent the growth or accumulation of any tumbleweeds, weeds, grass, or similar vegetation, trash, and debris which, when mature, bears wingy or downy seeds, which will attain such a large growth as to become a fire menace when dry, which is otherwise noxious or dangerous, or which creates a harborage or a food supply for rodents or other pests, or which, when growing or accumulated in or near drainage channels, obstructs the free flow of water on premises owned or occupied by such landowners or occupants, including unpaved portions of adjacent public streets to which there is a right of access, or prohibit or stifle their growth through methods approved by the County Agricultural Commissioner.
