§ 4-3.08. License plates or stickers: Removal: Destruction.

No person shall wilfully or knowingly remove, destroy, mutilate, or alter any bicycle license issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter during the period which such license plate or sticker is operative; provided, however, the owner may remove the license to paint or repair the bicycle.
