§ 4-3.21. Bicycle lanes: Exit conditions.

  • Any person riding a bicycle within a bicycle lane shall leave such lane only when it is safe to do so and under the following circumstances:

    (a)

    At an intersection;

    (b)

    For the purpose of passing an obstruction or overtaking and passing another bicycle;

    (c)

    Between intersections to make a U-turn or turn into a driveway or alley; and

    (d)

    As a pedestrian walking a bicycle.
