§ 4-3.22. Bicycles on sidewalks and sidepaths.
No person shall ride a bicycle having wheels twenty (20″) inches or more in diameter on any portland cement concrete sidewalk, unless a sign has been erected by the Traffic Engineer permitting the riding of bicycles on such sidewalk. No person shall ride a bicycle having wheels twenty (20″) inches or more in diameter upon an asphaltic concrete pedestrian sidepath adjacent to which there has been designated a bicycle lane or path or where a sign has been erected by the Traffic Engineer prohibiting the riding of bicycles thereon. Persons riding bicycles on sidewalks or sidepaths shall yield the right-of-way to pedestrians thereon.
