§ 4-9.402. Parking of oversized vehicles, trailers and fifth wheels.

  • (a)

    No person shall park or leave standing any oversized vehicle, as further defined herein, upon any public street or highway in the City. For the purpose of this section, the term "oversized vehicle" shall mean any vehicle, as defined by Section 670 of the Vehicle Code, or combination of vehicles, which exceeds twenty-three (23′) feet in length, seven (7′) feet in width, or eight (8′) feet in height, exclusive of projecting lights or devices allowed by Section 35109 or 35110 of the Vehicle Code, as may be amended.

    (b)

    No person shall park or leave standing any trailer, as defined in Section 630 of the Vehicle Code, or fifth wheel travel trailer, as defined by Section 324 of the Vehicle Code, regardless of length or width, when it has been detached from a motor vehicle, upon any public street or highway in the City.
