§ 5-8.106. Permits required.

(a)

No person may engage in, conduct or carry on, or permit to be engaged in, conducted or carried on, in or upon any premises in the City of Simi Valley, the operation of a sexually oriented business unless the person first obtains and continues to maintain in full force and effect a permit from the City of Simi Valley as herein required (sexually oriented business regulatory permit).

(b)

Sexually oriented business performers shall obtain a permit from the City of Simi Valley as herein required (sexually oriented business performer permit).

(c)

The Chief of Police shall grant, deny, renew, suspend, revoke, and transfer sexually oriented business regulatory permits and sexually oriented business performer permits in accordance with these regulations.
