§ 6-12.513. Trash Receptacles.
(a)
The Director may require the installation of trash receptacles, or equivalent trash capturing devices, in areas of trash generation by the Responsible Party.
(b)
The Responsible Party of any establishment, industrial park, or public place in which trash receptacles are required by this chapter must procure and place such receptacles on the subject premises at their own expense.
(c)
All outdoor trash receptacles required under this section must have covers.
(d)
The Responsible Party of a place of business, who sells or offers food for sale, must provide for customer use, outdoor trash receptacles.
(e)
No Responsible Party owning or occupying a place of business will sweep or direct another to sweep or deposit in any gutter, street, or public place the accumulation of waste from any building or lot from any public or private sidewalk or driveway.
(f)
A Responsible Party owning or occupying a place of business will keep the sidewalk in front of their business premises free of trash.
(g)
The Responsible Party will ensure that spillage and overflow of wastes around containers will be promptly cleaned and disposed of in an appropriate container.
(h)
The Responsible Party will ensure that all trash receptacles are cleaned out and maintained properly to prevent trash overflow.
