§ 7-1.506. Obedience to laws.

  • When authorized by a permit issued by the State, Division of Highways of the State, or the Director of Public Services to move a vehicle or combination of vehicles or load of dimensions or weight or other characteristics generally prohibited by law, the permittee shall comply with the general laws regulating travel over a public street, including posted signs or notices which limit a speed, direction of travel, the weight which may be placed upon a structure, the width or height that may be moved on, over, or across a street, or which otherwise restrict or control travel on a public street, unless such permittee is exempted from such laws by a special permit.
