This Article establishes requirements for the preparation, filing, approval or disapproval
of Tentative Parcel Maps, Tentative Tract Maps, and Vesting Tentative Maps consistent
with the requirements of the Map Act. For the purposes of this Chapter, the term "Tentative
Map" shall refer to Tentative Parcel Maps, Tentative Tract Maps, and Vesting Tentative
Maps.
