§ 4-8.02. Licenses: Required: Exceptions.

No person shall operate, or allow his employee or agent to operate, any taxicab in the City without first obtaining a license therefor.

The provisions of this section shall not apply to taxicabs owned by persons having their principal place of business outside the City when such taxicabs carry passengers from points of departure outside the City to destinations within the City.
