§ 6-12.509. Illicit Connections and Discharges.

(a)

No Responsible Party will construct, use, maintain, operate, or allow any agent, employee, or independent contractor, to construct, maintain, operate, or utilize an Illicit Connection.

(b)

A Responsible Party of an Illicit Connection will be required to immediately, or by a date specified by the Director, disconnect the Illicit Connection.

(c)

A Responsible Party of an Illicit Discharge will be required to immediately, or by a date specified by the Director, take measures to eliminate the source of the Discharge and discontinue the Illicit Discharge.

(d)

The Director may require the Responsible Party of an Illicit Connection or Illicit Discharge to remediate the affected area and restore it to its pre-pollution condition.

(e)

The Director may require a Responsible Party of an Illicit Connection to the Storm Drain System to eliminate or secure the proper approval for the connection.
